Second Generation Organic Waste Composting Machine - What makes it different from the conventional one?

We here at CbS, along with manufacturing of Filtration Machines for Industrial Oil also offers a wide range of Organic Waste Composting Machine which comes under our second manufacturing division which is Waste Energy Equipment Division under which we manufacture Bio Toilets, Mobile Toilet Van,  with lots of modern and easy to use technologies.

We have developed something new and totally different from the conventional Organic Waste Composting Machine (OWCM), which we are calling Second Generation OWCM (SGOWCM). But before going into deep about SGOWCM let us know about conventional OWCM.

Conventional Organic Waste Composting Machine (OWCM)

Organic Waste Composting Machine
The conventional OWCM machine consists of Crusher / Shredder, a composting tank, heating system (could be thermo-pad, ceramic, thermic oil, etc.), blower unit, gear system and a control panel. This machine takes upto 24 hours for processing the organic waste into compost, the process includes the continuous heating of the shredded waste inside the composting tank upto a prescribed limit. This means the heating system will always have to be on electricity which increases the power consumption but also the operational cost of the machine which is the major drawback of the conventional OWCM.

So, to deal with this we have introduced our Second Generation Organic Waste Composting Machine (SGOWCM). (Read more...)

So, here is our SGOWCM which have been developed by our qualified engineers keeping in view the power consumption and the processing time of the machine.

For this our team searched for the major factor that was the moister and free water present in the organic waste such as vegetables, fruits, dal, rice, etc. The larger the moisture & water content the higher the heating capacity will be needed to remove the free water. Although the moisture present is good for the compost but the free water will take a lot more time and energy in form of electricity for evaporation.
So, here we kicked in with the idea of removing the unwanted moisture and free water at the initial stages. For that we came across the squeezer cum shredder, a machine which is able to break the large pieces of waste into smaller one and along with removing the extra moisture and free water from the waste which can be further used as a liquid compost. On putting the waste being processed with the squeezer in the composting tank we saw the huge drop in the processing time along with power requirement. Now the machine is processing the waste into compost within 12 to 14 hours. (Read more...)

Difference between SGOWCM and OWCM

Second Generation Organic Waste Composting Machine (SGOWCM) Conventional Organic Waste Composting Machine(OWCM)

  • Consumes 70% less energy than conventional machine.

  • Consumes more energy.

  • The machine has an option where its certain electrical parts can be run on solar energy.

  • The machine only runs on electrical energy.

  • The machine has a squeezer type asymmetric crusher which separates free water initially making sure heaters don’t run for long.

  • Conventional crusher with no squeezer option.

  • The squeezed out liquid compost is high in nutrients and can be used as fertilizer.

  • No liquid compost.

  • Because the free water is taken out & it uses less electricity these machines have a positive carbon footprint.

  • The amount of electricity used and gaseous residues from the machine make the carbon footprint negative of the machine.

  • 12-14 hours processing time.

  • 24 hours processing time.

Bio Toilet - Working and Advantages

Bio toilet disintegrates and decomposes the human waste into water and biogas. The decomposition is carried out by bacteria in the Bio-digestion tank. Bio-toilets are environment-friendly and reduces the sewage problem and also reduces the water consumption in the toilets. As traditional toilets requires 3-6 litres of flushing, but bio-toilet requires only .5 to 1 liters. Working of Bio Toilet Bio-toilets contains of two parts, one is the toilet cabin and other is the Bio Digester Tank. The toilet outlet is connected with digester tank. The bio digester tank is divided into multiple sections to process the human waste in different stages. Once the human waste is flushed through the toilet, the waste goes into the bio digester tank. The Anaerobic bacteria present in the bio digester tank starts to digest the human waste. These anaerobic materials can withstand a long range of temperatures ranging from  -40⁰C to 45⁰C . These anaerobic bacteria decomp...

Transformer Oil Filtration - is it good or bad?

A static device which transfers electrical energy from one circuit to another through the process of electromagnetic induction is know as Transformer. It is most commonly used to increase or decrease voltage levels between circuits. Since transformer oil also know as insulating oil works as a coolant also, so it has to be stable at very high temperatures, in both electrical and chemical conditions. Therefore, the transformer oil must have a high flash point of about 140° Celsius or higher, a low pour point of about -30° Celsius or less, and a dielectric breakdown voltage of about 28 to 30 kilo volts or higher. Advantages of Transformer Oil Filtration The transformer oil filtration becomes necessary as with time the transformer oil or insulation oil gets contaminated with dirt, moisture and dissolved gases. The timely and regular filtration of transformer oil ensures longer transformer's life. Transformer oil filtration process not only maintains but also increases its...

Happy Indian Army Day 2022

Indian Army   Day is observed every year on 15 January. It is celebrated to acknowledge the importance of, and honour our nation's army. The date 15 January marks the day when General (later Field Marshal) K M Carriappa took over the command of Army from General Sir FRR Bucher, the last British Commander-in-Chief in 1949.
